WHY YOUR HELP MATTERS
The future of HRET is dependent upon the ability to provide a space for our riders and horses that allows the program to grow and serve more in our community.

Our current home is a rented space that restricts our teaching hours, class offerings and has insufficient space to offer ADA accommodations.

We have to suspend classes during the winter months so as not to endure the bitter elements this inflicts on our staff, volunteers, riders, and horses. The ability to offer a climate-controlled arena to our riders will allow us to operate classes year-round.

Our new facility will provide optimal space for expansion of our services including our veteran's program and agriculture/farming experience classes.
Our new facility will feature:

TESTIMONIAL
TESTIMONIAL
"I think the new barn is important because HRET touches so many lives. It’s not just about the energy between the rider and horse but about the families that are impacted, week after week, and about the volunteers. The relationships that are formed, the smiles and tears that are shared between those involved is a magic that can’t be described. A new barn will enable us to keep our classes continuing, uninterrupted, year-round, which is an absolute lifeline for some of the families that we serve!"
- Rhonda Hetrick, a longtime supporter and volunteer of HRET
